The Ford Motor Company was founded by Henry Ford on June 1903 and is the second largest car manufacturer in the world, with some 2,800,000 employees worldwide. Ford is known for introducing several new techniques in automobile manufacturing, which aim at better employee management, competent prices, and a highly motivated task force. In the late 90’s, there was a big jump in Ford automobile sales, and the boom in American economy caused Ford stock prices to skyrocket. However, rising fuel prices show negative effects on the company’s profits. Still, Ford continues to cater to its individual market segments. Some of its most poular car models are the Ford Mustang, Ford Escort, and Ford Monde to name a few.
